Hasan Kalyoncu University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema has entered into educational life in 2018, in the presence of founding dean Edibe Sözen. The Head of the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema is Prof. Dr. Bülent Bahri Küçükerdoğan.
Alumni
Students receive a total of 240 ECTS in eight terms, 30 in each, and earn the right to graduate by completing 2 semesters of compulsory internships. In Hasan Kalyoncu University’s Faculty of Communication, Radio, Television and Cinema undergraduate Program, where theory and practice studies are carried out together, it is aimed that the students have the ability to work in fields such as film directing and production, cinematography, scriptwriting, editing, criticism of cinema and television, and, production and management of radio programs. Therefore, our teaching staff is supported by experts from the field.
Today, the increase in private television and radio channels, the development of internet broadcasting, the mobilization of production in Turkish cinema in parallel with the increase in movie theaters, have revealed the need for competent staff in the level of creation and production. The aim of the Radio, Television and Cinema Program is what is lacking; to raise individuals who are versatile, open to innovations, respectful of ethical values , and can develop creative ideas and bring them to the sector. When our students graduate, they can work in film companies, television and radio channels, advertising companies, news agencies, internet broadcasting companies, promotional companies, and all areas of audiovisual media.
