RADIO, TELEVISION AND CINEMA

Overview

The Radio, Television and Cinema Program started its education life in the 2018-2019 Fall semester within Hasan Kalyoncu University Faculty of Communication. The language of education is Turkish. Preparatory class is optional. Students are entitled to graduate by completing a total of 240 credits, 30 credits in one semester, and two-semester compulsory internships. Students who graduate from the program can apply for graduate programs provided that they complete the graduate transition requirements for the program they want to be admitted to.

Throughout the program, students will handle communication with its cultural and social dimensions; they will have knowledge in theoretical and practical areas related to cinema-video art, audio-visual field expertise, television arts and technologies, production, management, scriptwriting, cinematography, radio broadcasting, and sound. In the department, where an interdisciplinary educational approach is adopted, students will be directed to practice and research.

The Radio, Television and Cinema Program is in cooperation with international cinema schools and the main international organizations to which these schools are affiliated to keep up with countries that are constantly developing in the field of science and art. With its Erasmus + student exchange agreements, the program offers its students the chance to improve their foreign languages ​​and gain experience abroad. Also, students are given the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice with in-house and external internships.
