Hasan Kalyoncu University’s Faculty of Communication launched the Radio, Television, and Cinema Department in 2018 under the visionary leadership of the founding dean Prof. Dr. Edibe Sözen. The position of Department Chair is held by Prof. Dr. Bülent Bahri Küçükerdoğan.
Radio, Television and Cinema Program Objectives:
(PÖZ1) To have basic knowledge about aesthetics, visual culture, scientific understanding in the field of communication science, Radio, Television and Cinema and to be able to transform it into practice,
(PÖZ2) To have knowledge in areas such as camera, editing, script, program production in the field of Radio, Television and Cinema,
(PÖZ3) Open to change, constantly changing himself/herself in line with social, cultural, scientific and ethical values,
(PÖZ4) Observing social responsibility and community benefit in their professional practices,
(PÖZ5) To be able to look critically at the world and oneself,
(PÖZ6) Has an interdisciplinary perspective,
(PÖZ7) Attaches importance to research and development,
(PÖZ8) To train Radio, Television and Filmmakers who can demonstrate their professional competence and skills in every field of Radio, Television and Cinema.
